One of the first things you’ll notice after arriving on Sanibel is the bike paths that run from one end of the island to the other. Bicycles are a popular form of transportation for visitors and residents alike. It’s one of the quickest ways to adapt to Sanibel’s quaint, unique charm and it’s also the best possible way to get an uncluttered, unforgettable view of one of the most treasured bits of paradise this country has to offer.



There are two golf courses open to the public on Sanibel: The Dunes Country Club which offers 18 holes, clubhouse, tennis, pool, and all facilities and Beachview Country Club which offers 18 holes, clubhouse, and other facilities.
The Sanctuary is a private club on the west end of the island. South Seas Resort on Captiva offers golf, but it is only for their guests.
